Refund Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases of Eduvisionary, the web-based business management software provided to small businesses, freelancers, consultants, agencies, and other service-based businesses, available at https://eduvisionary.co.uk (the "Service"), provided by Eduvisionary ("Eduvisionary", "we", "us", "our"). Every Eduvisionary package is sold as a single one-off payment for lifetime access — not a recurring subscription. This Policy forms part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms and Conditions. By purchasing Eduvisionary, you agree to this Policy.
1. Introduction
This Refund Policy sets out when a refund may be available, how eligibility is determined, how to request one, and how the process works once a request has been submitted. It is intended to be read alongside Eduvisionary's other published terms, including the general Terms and Conditions and any package-specific terms that apply to the package you have purchased. Where this Policy and any other published term appear to conflict, the more specific, most recently published version should be treated as controlling, and customers are encouraged to contact us directly if anything is unclear.
Eduvisionary wants customers to have a genuine opportunity to evaluate the platform and confirm that it meets their business's requirements. That is the purpose behind the refund arrangements described here. Because each package is a single one-off payment for lifetime access to web-based software, rather than a recurring subscription or a physical product, this Policy is written to explain clearly how refunds apply to that one payment.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to the one-off payment made to purchase lifetime access to an Eduvisionary package, and, where relevant, to a one-off payment made to move up to a higher package. It does not itself create any entitlement beyond what is described here or in Eduvisionary's other published terms, and it does not apply to any third-party products, services, or integrations that a customer may choose to use alongside Eduvisionary, even where those third-party services are accessed from within the platform.
There are no recurring charges, renewals, or billing periods for Eduvisionary packages, so there is no subscription to cancel. Closing an account is a separate action a customer can request at any time; it does not, by itself, entitle a customer to a refund of the amount already paid, except where the conditions described below are met.
3. The 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Eligible purchases of an Eduvisionary package are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. This means that a customer who is not satisfied with the platform, for any reason, may request a full refund of an eligible payment within 14 days of that payment being made, subject to the conditions set out in this Policy.
The 14-day period is calculated from the date the checkout was completed, not from the date the account was first created or first used, and not from the date a free trial (where offered) began or ended. Where a payment is made by Bacs Direct Debit or Klarna, the period still runs from the date checkout was completed, even though the payment itself may take a few days to clear.
The guarantee is designed to give customers a genuine, low-risk opportunity to try Eduvisionary and determine whether it fits their business's needs. Because the purchase grants lifetime access, the guarantee is not intended to function as an ongoing entitlement to reverse the payment after the platform has been used beyond the 14-day window.
4. What Counts as an Eligible Purchase
Not every payment made to Eduvisionary is automatically eligible for a refund under the 14-day guarantee. This section clarifies what generally does and does not qualify.
Generally eligible:
- A customer's one-off payment for lifetime access to an Eduvisionary package for a new account, made within the last 14 days;
- A one-off payment made to move an existing account up to a higher package, where that specific payment was made within the last 14 days, and the refund request relates specifically to that move rather than to the original purchase that was already in place beforehand.
Generally not eligible:
- A purchase where more than 14 days have passed since checkout was completed;
- Payments on accounts where a refund has already been issued under this guarantee previously, since the guarantee is intended as a one-time opportunity to evaluate the platform;
- Payments associated with add-ons, usage-based charges, or optional extras that are separately identified as non-refundable at the point of purchase;
- Payments where the request is made after the 14-day period has already elapsed, regardless of the underlying reason for the request.
Where there is any doubt about whether a particular payment qualifies, customers are encouraged to submit a request through the process described below. Each request is reviewed individually against these criteria, and Eduvisionary will confirm eligibility, or the reasons a request does not qualify, as part of that review.
5. Requesting a Refund
Customers who believe they are entitled to a refund under this Policy should submit a request through Eduvisionary's designated support channel, as identified in their account or in our published contact information. Requests should be made as early as possible within the 14-day window, since the guarantee is time-limited and cannot be extended retroactively once the period has passed.
When submitting a request, customers should be prepared to provide:
- The email address or account identifier used at checkout;
- The approximate date the relevant payment was made;
- A brief explanation of the reason for the request, which helps us understand the nature of the concern and, where appropriate, improve the platform going forward.
Providing a reason is helpful, but the 14-day guarantee does not require a customer to justify their decision in detail or to demonstrate a specific fault with the platform. Dissatisfaction with the platform, a change in business circumstances, or simply deciding that Eduvisionary is not the right fit are all acceptable reasons for a request made within the eligible window.
6. How Refunds Are Processed
Once a refund request has been submitted and confirmed as eligible, Eduvisionary will process the refund to the original payment method used for the purchase. Payments are processed securely through Stripe by card, Bacs Direct Debit or Klarna, and the exact timing of a refund reaching the customer will depend on the processing times associated with the relevant payment method and the customer's own financial institution.
In most cases, once a refund has been approved and initiated on Eduvisionary's side, the funds should appear back with the original payment provider within a standard processing window, though this can vary. Card payments are typically returned to the original card within a period determined by the card issuer, and customers should allow a reasonable number of business days for this to be reflected in their statement. Refunds relating to Bacs Direct Debit payments may take a somewhat longer processing period, consistent with the standard timelines associated with that payment method. Refunds of Klarna payments are returned to Klarna, which adjusts or refunds the customer's Klarna balance or instalments in line with Klarna's own terms.
Where a Bacs Direct Debit or Klarna payment has not yet cleared at the time a refund is requested, Eduvisionary may wait for the payment to clear before issuing the refund, or may cancel the pending payment instead where that is possible.
Eduvisionary does not hold customer funds on behalf of third parties, and refunds are processed through the same payment infrastructure used to collect the original payment. Eduvisionary is not able to issue a refund to a different payment method or account than the one originally used, except in unusual circumstances where the original method is no longer available, in which case customers should raise this directly with support so an appropriate alternative can be discussed.
7. Effect of a Refund on Your Account
When a full refund is issued under the 14-day guarantee, the lifetime access granted by that purchase ends. Access to the platform, or to the specific features associated with the refunded payment, will end once the refund has been processed.
Data entered into the platform while access was active — such as customer records, project information, employee records, or financial records — is handled in accordance with Eduvisionary's data retention practices as set out in its other published policies. Customers who anticipate requesting a refund and who wish to retain a copy of the information they entered are encouraged to export or otherwise save that information before a refund is finalised, since a refund and the resulting end of access may affect what remains readily available afterward.
If a refund is issued for a payment to move up to a higher package specifically, rather than for the original purchase, the account will typically revert to the package and access level that was in place immediately before the move, rather than being closed entirely, since the original purchase was not the subject of the refund request.
8. One-Off Payment, No Renewals
Eduvisionary is not a recurring subscription. Each package is purchased with a single one-off payment that provides lifetime access to that package. There are no renewal dates, no billing periods, and no automatic further charges. Customers do not need to cancel anything to avoid being charged again.
Where a customer pays by Bacs Direct Debit, Stripe collects the single purchase amount only; no recurring Direct Debit instruction is used for further payments. Where a customer pays with Klarna, any instalment plan offered is an arrangement between the customer and Klarna, and Eduvisionary does not charge the customer again.
"Lifetime access" means access to the purchased package for as long as Eduvisionary continues to operate the Service, subject to the Terms and Conditions, including the provisions on suspension and termination for breach.
9. Payments That Are Still Clearing
Bacs Direct Debit and Klarna payments can take several days to settle. To avoid keeping paying customers waiting, Eduvisionary grants access as soon as checkout is complete, even while such a payment is still clearing.
If a payment that is still clearing ultimately fails, is reversed, or is not collected, the purchase is treated as unpaid and access to the account will be suspended. Customers in this situation can contact support to arrange payment and restore access. A failed payment is not a refund, and no refund is due for a payment that was never collected.
10. Moving to a Different Package
Customers who wish to move up to a higher package can contact support, and Eduvisionary will explain the options and any one-off amount payable at that time. Moving to a lower package is not required to reduce costs, since there are no ongoing charges, and does not on its own trigger a refund of any part of the original one-off payment.
11. Exceptional Circumstances
While this Policy sets out the standard framework within which refunds are considered, Eduvisionary recognises that some situations may not fit neatly within the categories described above — for example, a payment made in error, a duplicate charge, or a technical issue that genuinely prevented a customer from being able to use the platform during a relevant period.
In these kinds of situations, customers are encouraged to contact support and explain the specific circumstances. Requests of this nature will be reviewed individually, and Eduvisionary may, at its discretion, consider a refund or other appropriate resolution outside the standard 14-day window where the circumstances genuinely warrant it. This discretion is not a guaranteed entitlement, and raising a request of this kind does not automatically mean a refund will be issued, but Eduvisionary aims to consider each such situation fairly and to communicate the outcome of that review clearly.
12. What This Policy Does Not Cover
This Policy addresses refunds for one-off Eduvisionary purchases specifically. It does not extend to, and should not be relied upon in connection with, any of the following:
- Any dispute over the accuracy, completeness, or use of information that a customer has entered into the platform, since Eduvisionary provides the software tools for managing this information but does not independently verify or take responsibility for customer-entered records;
- Any claim relating to accounting, tax, financial, investment, or legal outcomes, since Eduvisionary does not provide advice in these areas and this Policy does not create any such obligation;
- Any dispute with a third party, including a customer's own clients, employees, or vendors, arising from the customer's use of the platform to manage their business relationships;
- Charges made by a third-party service that a customer has separately connected to or used alongside Eduvisionary, where that charge was not collected by Eduvisionary itself.
Where a concern falls into one of these categories, customers should refer to Eduvisionary's other published terms, or, where appropriate, seek independent professional advice, rather than treating this Refund Policy as the relevant framework for resolving that particular concern.
13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers who have a concern about a charge are strongly encouraged to contact Eduvisionary support directly and use the refund request process described in this Policy, rather than initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their card issuer or bank as a first step. Direct requests can generally be resolved more quickly and with clearer communication than a formal chargeback process, which can take longer and may result in a temporary suspension of account access while the dispute is investigated.
If a chargeback is initiated without first attempting to resolve the matter directly with Eduvisionary, the associated account may be suspended while the dispute is reviewed, consistent with standard practice for online software services generally. Eduvisionary aims to respond promptly and fairly to any refund request raised directly, and encourages customers to use that channel first wherever possible.
14. Currency and International Payments
Refunds are issued in the same currency in which the original payment was made. Where a customer's card or account operates in a different currency from the one used for the original transaction, any currency conversion applied by the customer's bank or card issuer at the time of the refund is outside Eduvisionary's control, and the amount received may differ slightly from the original payment amount due to exchange rate fluctuations or conversion fees applied by the customer's financial institution rather than by Eduvisionary.
15. Changes to This Policy
Eduvisionary may update this Refund Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in payment processing arrangements, package structures, or general business practices. Where changes are made, the updated Policy will be published, and the version in effect at the time a payment is made will generally govern the refund terms applicable to that specific payment, unless otherwise stated.
Customers are encouraged to review this Policy periodically, particularly before making a purchase or requesting a refund, to ensure they are working from the most current version.
16. Contacting Eduvisionary About a Refund
Customers with questions about this Policy, or who wish to submit a refund request, should contact Eduvisionary through the support channel identified within their account or on our website. Providing the account email address and the approximate date of the relevant payment when making contact will help ensure the request can be reviewed as quickly as possible.
Eduvisionary aims to acknowledge refund requests promptly and to provide a clear outcome, including an explanation where a request does not qualify under this Policy, so that customers have a straightforward understanding of the decision reached.
17. Free Trials and Their Relationship to This Policy
Where Eduvisionary offers a free trial period on a particular package or promotion, that trial is separate from the 14-day money-back guarantee described above, and the two should not be confused with one another. A free trial allows a prospective customer to explore the platform before any payment is made at all, and no refund is relevant during that period simply because no payment has yet occurred.
Once a free trial ends and a customer proceeds to make the one-off payment, the 14-day guarantee then begins to run from the date of that payment, not from the date the trial itself began. Customers who used a free trial extensively before purchasing should be aware that the 14-day window for a refund request starts fresh at the point of payment, and is not shortened or otherwise affected by how much of the trial period was used beforehand. Equally, using a free trial does not extend the 14-day window beyond what is described elsewhere in this Policy, nor does it create any separate or additional refund entitlement once the purchase is made.
18. Refunds Requested on Behalf of a Business Account
Where an Eduvisionary purchase is held in the name of a business rather than an individual, refund requests should generally be submitted by someone authorised to act on behalf of that business account, such as the account owner or an administrator with appropriate access. Eduvisionary may ask for reasonable confirmation of this authority before processing a refund, particularly where a request appears to come from an email address or contact not previously associated with the account, in order to help protect business accounts from unauthorised refund requests made by someone without the appropriate authority to make them.
Where a business account has multiple users or administrators, it is the responsibility of the business itself to manage internal communication about payment decisions, including whether a refund should be requested. Eduvisionary is not in a position to arbitrate internal disagreements between individuals associated with the same business account about whether a refund should be sought, and will generally act on instructions received from an authorised account holder or administrator.
19. Customers Who Previously Held a Yearly Subscription
Before Eduvisionary moved to one-off lifetime pricing, some customers purchased a yearly subscription. Those existing subscriptions continue under the terms that applied when they were purchased, including any renewal, until they end or are cancelled; such customers can cancel future renewals through the billing link in their account or by contacting support, and keep access until the end of the period already paid for. Refund eligibility for any subscription payment already made is determined by the version of this Policy in effect at the time of that payment. Such customers are welcome to contact support about moving to a one-off lifetime package.
20. Summary
Every Eduvisionary package is a single one-off payment for lifetime access — not a recurring subscription — and is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. Requests made within 14 days of checkout, on an eligible payment, will generally be honoured with a full refund to the original payment method, after which access ends. There are no renewals or further charges. Access is granted immediately at checkout, including while Bacs Direct Debit or Klarna payments are clearing, and is suspended if such a payment ultimately fails. Refunds outside the standard guarantee are considered on a discretionary, case-by-case basis for genuinely exceptional circumstances.
This Policy is intended to be transparent and straightforward: customers should know clearly what they are entitled to, and what falls outside the scope of this guarantee, so that the decision to purchase can be made with confidence.
